Susannah Sallin is a Search Consultant specializing in finding exceptional talent for innovative non-profits and social entrepreneurial organizations

Since 2000, Susannah and her team have worked on hundreds of searches for the following organizations: Google, The Skoll Foundation, Benetech, CafePress, PlayWorks, The San Francisco Health Plan, and many other non-profits.  Susannah was one of the first search professionals on the staffing team at Google.  Earlier in her career, she partnered with some of the largest retained executive search firms on their executive level searches.

Susannah earned a B.A. in Sociology (with an emphasis on Environmental Studies) with honors and distinction from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and holds an M.A. degree in Teaching and Education from Lewis and Clark College.  She taught Sociology at the college level, and was a Social Worker for two state governments dedicated to improving the lives of children and families.  In addition, she was a Casewriter for The Center for Science and International Affairs (CSIA) at Harvard University’s Kennedy School.  She is an active volunteer in her community and for many non-profit organizations.  She just finished serving for four years on the board of the San Carlos Education Foundation (SCEF) and is a graduate of the Leadership San Carlos/Redwood City Program.  Susannah loves to explore other cultures and has lived in four countries, four states and studied seven languages.
